Head of Quality Unit Germany (m/f/d) FULL TIME Nürnberg, Deutschland Leadership Role 7/30/20 Heumann Pharma GmbH Co. & Generica KG is a subsidiary of a global pharmaceutical company and is based in Nuremberg, Germany. With over a hundred years of history and the support of our global parent company we have ambitious plans to grow the business into the future. We are searching for an experienced and highly motivated Head of Quality Unit to lead the expansion of its current footprint in both OTC and the RX markets. We offer a flat structure with the space and openness to be innovative, for an ambitious, proactive and hands on leader. You should have a good record of implementing strategy and rewarding success. This role will report to the Director of Quality for Europe and will be member of the German leadership team. Key responsibilities: Strategic planning for the Quality Unit Strategic planning of quality projects for the German market including scientific and quality consultancy in product development Execution of Quality Unit objectives and plans Support and advice of our business development team for the in-licensing process of new products Support and advice of our customers and partners regarding quality requirements & standards Monitoring of new product launches and management of lifecycle quality issues Ensuring GMP & GDP Compliance and Regulatory conformity Leadership of Audits and Inspections The ideal candidate should bring the following skill set and experience to fulfil the profile requirements: 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (preferably in Germany), with extensive experience of Quality Assurance and -Control of generic pharmaceuticals Qualification as, or equivalent to, a Qualified Person according to § 15 AMG and proven GDP expertise Profound leadership and stakeholder management experience Exceptional communications and project management skills; Fluency in German and English essential, IT affinity (standard office and QA software e.g. Trackwise), practical experience of introducing new systems, understanding of generic product lifecycle Highly flexible and open working style with an innovative approach to solving problems, adaptability and a risk-based approach Results driven with a proven record of delivering on expectations
