Bachelor of Engineering, Audio, DSP

Your Role • As an audio DSP expert, you are responsible for the development, application and testing of audio DSP software as part of the next generation of automotive premium audio systems • The role of an audio DSP expert requires a close cooperation with experts from different areas such as audio system architecture, hardware architecture, software architecture, audio and vehicle acoustics and other domain experts   Your Responsibilities • Creation of future oriented, state of the art solutions for the management and processing of audio within the automotive E/E architecture • Drive technical requirements and clarification with stakeholders within TIER-1, Automotive OEM and hard- and software suppliers • Ensure robustness, performance, safety and security aspects within the audio DSP domain   Required Profile • University degree in Audio, Acoustics or Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar with extensive experience in audio technology • Ability to break down complex problems and projects and find a good solution that fits nicely with the overall architecture • Expert knowledge in many of these areas: Embedded DSP architectures, audio processors and frameworks, automotive audio interfaces such as CAN, A2B, Ethernet • Know-how in programming languages C, C++, Java and embedded operating systems such as Linux, Android and QNX preferred • Ability to manage and understand complex audio DSP designs • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as audio DSP expert • Ideally a practical work experience in automotive environments. Automotive safety knowledge is a plus • Experienced in working autonomously within an agile environment with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery • Excellent language skills in English, written and spoken • Excellent communication and good presentation skills
