Strategic Sourcing Manager – Lead Buyer ICT (f/m/d)   What the role entails:   Responsibilities ·Strategic Sourcing Manager supporting Category Management “Information and Communications Technology” (ICT) ·Support and management of sourcing activities on Group level in cooperation with local purchasing organizations, internal clients and other departments of country organisations in alignment with Category Management ·Coordination and execution of tactical purchasing processes, from requirements specification through tendering to contract conclusion ·Build up of content for SAP Ariba like catalouges, request forms, service entry sheets ·Checks on and processing of Purchasing Requests within SAP Ariba in the category ICT   Requirements ·Pro-active networking and stakeholder management across various functions and countries ·Capability to cooperate and work within a multi-disciplinary team ·Strong project management and leadership skills ·Negotiating skills, assertiveness and a great sense of responsibility ·Influence without line management ·Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data ·Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement ·Strong communicative and social skills   Desired background and experience:   ·MSc/BSc degree in business informatics, business administration or equivalent employment experience ·3-5 years of professional experience in strategic sourcing with a corresponding focus, ideally with a consultant background ·Excellent market, product and technical knowledge relevant to the category ICT ·Clear understanding of strategic and tactical purchasing processes ·Business fluent in English, good communication skills in German, other languages would be of advantage ·Excellent handling of MS-Office products ·Basic knowledge of legal aspects, in particular contract law ·Proficient in analytical methods, e.g. cost-benefit calculations, total cost of ownership, cost / price structure analysis, etc.   You can expect this from us:   ·A dynamic, international and supportive management team in a fast-growing, innovative company ·Modern working environment, a stimulating atmosphere with professional and motivated employees ·Participation in Employee Share Plan Options ·Private Pension Scheme option available ·Excellent possibilities for growth within the company - development of professional and personal skills ·Flexible working hours in a hybrid mode (but not fully remote)
