Our client is a successful, internationally operating company in the automotive supply industry that develops and produces highly complex systems and components for automotive interiors. For a location in North Rhine-Westphalia, we are looking for a committed personality as a Senior Payroll Manager (m/f/d) to be filled in permanent position Your tasks ·Manage all payroll activities ·Responsible for timely execution within budget and quality of the solution as well as proper operational support ·Interpreting new legislation that impacts payroll ·Monitor compliance with legal reporting and filing requirements. ·Ensure standard processes are developed, documented, communicated, followed across all facilities and reviewed regularly ·Standardising and streamlining processes and procedures ·Maintain records for German Pension Insurance purposes and liaise with internal and external auditors ·Timely preparation of monthly and annual reports in accordance with operational and legal requirements ·Supervision of staff, including work scheduling, training, job rotation and problem solving ·Supporting internal and external auditors during the audit process ·Managing and implementing new projects ·Ensuring compliance with data protection laws and policies Your qualifications ·Completed vocational training as a payroll accountant, a degree and ideally further training in human resources management ·Several years of professional experience and sound knowledge in payroll accounting ·Project management experience in dealing with the conversion of payroll/time recording systems ·Paisy knowledge is required and Workday knowledge is desirable ·Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel ·Strong teamwork, communication and motivation skills ·Reliability, a conscientious approach to work and high quality standards combined with initiative round off your profile ·Fluent German and English You will be offered ·A performance-related salary, a highly demanding and responsible task in a very successful and renowned company in the automotive supplier industry ·An exciting working environment ·Home office arrangement and other full benefits (company pension scheme, capital-forming benefits, accident insurance, etc.) If you feel attracted by this job feel free to get in touch with Christina Köhler at Optares via christina.koehler@optares.de or by phone under +49 441 21879-11
