For the global commercial assessment of new product candidates for the development pipeline and for in-licensing purposes we are looking for a dedicated, dynamic and experienced Manager Global Commercial New Products (m/f/d) Development Pipeline and In-Licensing Scope of Responsibilities ·Enables development & external innovation decision making with due commercial assessments ·Acts as commercial counterpart to Scientific New Products Team in all pre-commercial asset processes ·Transfers pre-commercial assets into commercialization ·Support maximizing global opportunities ·Ensures the x-fctl. exchange with other units, especially Global Market Access, Global Medical Affairs, Global Marketing, External innovation and Clinical Development ·Reports to the Managing Director Commercial (CCO) ·Screening & assessing of business development opportunities from a holistic commercial perspective ·Assessment of the commercial perspective incl. business cases of potential new products ·Preparation of recommendations (go / no-go) to board based on developed business cases ·Contribution to the definition of information requirements regarding business intelligence data and information (market, competitive and stakeholder data and information) ·Generation of insights and implications based on business intelligence data and information Required Qualifications ·Long and proven track record of overall leadership experience of cross-functional teams is required (dotted line leadership required, solid line leadership is beneficial) ·Several years of leadership at international or european “above-country” level is required ·Incumbent must possess excellent business acumen, needs to be commercially savvy and scientifically sound ·Broad experience in Marketing/Brand Management, New Products or (asset) Commercialization roles and/or related field in ethical, innovative medicines is required (both at “in-country” and at “above-country” level) ·Proven track record of successful launch experience at “in-country” and at “above-country” level is required ·Beneficial but not required: Experience in Market Access and Medical Affairs in Gastroenterology and/or Hepatology either "in-country" or "above-country" ·Fluent command of the English language is required ·Fluent command of the German language is beneficial ·Science or medical background and degree (Bachelor’s degree) is required ·MBA, PhD or other advanced degree is beneficial Contact: For further questions, please contact Mr. Tilman Grumbd at +49 441 21879-34 or via e-mail at tilman.grumbd@optares.de.

Development Pipeline and In-Licensing

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Enables development & external innovation decision making with due commercial assessments
  • Acts as commercial counterpart to Scientific New Products Team in all pre-commercial asset processes
  • Transfers pre-commercial assets into commercialization
  • Support maximizing global opportunities
