Our Client is a major pharmaceutical enterprises worldwide and calls an exceptional development pipline his own. Especially in the areas of Oncology, Rheumatology and Nephrology the company is about to set new standards e.g with an upcoming first-in-class product. The core business of our client is within the therapeutic areas of vaccines and respiratory diseases. The open position will be assigned for the most important vaccine in the market. We are looking for a Head of Medical Affairs (m/f/d) Adult Vaccines Your tasks ·Responsible for the Medical Affairs strategy of the companies Adult Vaccines portfolio ·Leads and develops a group of Medical Advisors in the portfolio and agrees with them objectives and key results. ·Provides strategic input and secures early involvement for one of the most relevant global vaccine markets into new vaccine developments as well as for life-cycle management of existing vaccines especially about necessary evidence generation plans ·Is a member of relevant lead teams in the portfolio and is responsible for the implementation of medically relevant projects, amongst others is part of the German Medical Vaccines lead team and serves as primary medical representative in the local commercial business unit lead team. ·Represents the German Medical Organization in regional and global Medical, Product Development, Leadership Teams and other task forces as necessary ·Ensures close cross-functional collaboration especially with commercial functions in marketing and sales, but also with counterparts within medical, government affairs and market access as well as clinical research ·Oversees the creation and execution of medical plans and ensures co-creation with global and relevant local business teams ·Is responsible for the continuous scientific analysis of the vaccine environment and makes proposals for strategies and ensures their implementation and tracks execution ·Is as Information officer responsible for the correctness and medical review of the content of promotional materials Your qualifcations ·University degree of in biology or similar with pharmaceutical industry experience in a relevant therapeutic area preferably in infectious disease or with vaccines. ·Several years of professional experience in Medical Affairs in Global, Regional or Country Pharmaceutical functions with deep understanding of the German environment. ·Proven deep understanding of how medical and commercial teams interact successfully, as well as understanding of market access, pharmacovigilance, and vaccine development process. ·Strong experience of developing and delivering medical strategic plans. ·Understanding of medical governance with experience of effectively managing risk and compliance issues. ·Self-initiated, self-motivated with strong communication skills and willing to take accountability, contribute own ideas and give decisive impulses to teams on national, regional, and global level. ·Proven to be able to provide leadership to an own team as well as in a matrix structure. ·Persistence, resilience, and creativity seeking to work collaboratively. ·Strong written and verbal communication, motivational and interpersonal skills, and high degree of fluency in English, both written and spoken. Your qualifcations
University degree of in biology or similar with pharmaceutical industry experience in a relevant therapeutic area preferably in infectious disease or with vaccines.
