You are ambitious for patients and are intrinsically motivated to elevate the voice of the patient with a focus on uncovering and addressing unmet medical needs by harnessing data and insights to improve outcomes. To build up the medical team we are looking for an: Medical Affairs Lead (m/w/d) Hepatology Region:Greater Munich area Your tasks ·Leads the overall medical strategy and tactics in the respective therapy area (TA) ·Leads the overall medical strategy and tactics in the respective therapeutic area (TA). ·Ensures that pre-launch objectives are met to enable the successful launch of a new product ·Collaborates effectively within the organisation, particularly with sales and market access, in planning and implementing the overall product and disease area strategy as a member of the German TA leadership team ·Represents the German TA perspective in global committees to successfully align global and national TA strategies and tactics ·Provides vision and direction to the team, sets goals, tracks progress and reports on TA performance according to established standards ·Attends to the development of the individual and the team; continually develops the skills of the medical team to meet high industry standards ·Builds and maintains strategic relationships with medical and scientific experts and maintains current scientific knowledge in the field of the disease Your qualifications ·Advanced medical or life science degree (e.g. MD, PhD, PharmD) ·Experience in leading Medical Affairs teams within matrix organizations ·Excellent strategic thinking, communication and leadership skills ·Bold in aspiration, agile in execution, accountable for impact ·Deep understanding of the healthcare environment/system ·Disease area expertise in Hepatology is highly desirable ·Excellent written and spoken English, fluent German If you feel attracted by this job feel free to get in touch with Osmarina Pereira at Optares Medical via osmarina.pereira@optares.de or by phone under +49 441 21879-31
