We are looking for a AIX Administrator L3 Primary Skills (Technical Skill) AIX, NIM, VIOS, HACMP Secondary Skills (optional) RedHat Linux 7,8,9 & Suse 12.x Technical Qualification IBM Certified System Administrator - AIX V1 Experience Level 8+ Years Role & Responsibilities ·Lead a team of AIX Administrators and provide 24x7 Production Support. ·Handle escalated incidents and critical tickets. ·Plan and schedule Changes coordinating with different stakeholders. ·Perform Service Requests based on Standard Operating Procedures ·Managing ticketing queue with agreed service levels ·Perform RCA for Major Incidents. ·Follow quality / security process defined for the engagement. ·Perform Trend analysis, identify top call drivers and work to minimize the incidents. ·Hardware troubleshooting and Vendor coordination ·Work on the service improvement programs. ·Effort estimation/reviews on need basis for new projects. ·Work with project teams for activities such as new server build, OS upgrades, migrations etc. ·Automation of tasks using Shell scripting Technical Skills Required ·AIX – 7.1 and 7.2 ·Patch Management: NIM ·Shell Scripting Specific Domain/Technical/Functional skills ·Should have minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience AIX and L2 Knowledge on Linux (RHEL 7,8.9; Suse 12.x) ·Solid experience in AIX Product engineering. ·Architecting and Solution of complex AIX Infrastructure design including Data Centre. ·Proficient in AIX and Linux design and Implementation. ·Setup, documentation, Maintenance of configuration and system parameters ·mksysb Backup and restoration. ·LPAR installation and maintenance. ·LVM, User Management and troubleshooting. ·NIM Server Installation, Configuration and Administration. ·VIOS Server Installation, Configuration and Administration. ·HMC firmware upgrade. ·HACMP Cluster Installation & configuration. ·Firmware installation, upgradation, and maintenance ·DR plan setup. ·Patch management of AIX and Linux infrastructure. ·Perform AIX Firmware upgrade, VIOs upgrade, Power cycle of server, ASMI management, Live partition mobility and HMC upgrade. ·Trend Analysis and Assisting on Capacity planning for the OS Parameters like CPU, Memory & Disk ·Good understanding of ITIL. ·Good documentation and presentation skills.
