We are looking for a Backup Administrator L1 Primary Skills (Technical Skill) IBM Spectrum Protect (ISP), IBM Spectrum Protect Plus (SPP), Tape Library, Disk Storage Secondary Skills (optional) Platform Skills (Windows, Linux, Virtualization) Technical Qualifications IBM Certified Administrator IBM Spectrum Protect 8.1.X (Certification). IBM Spectrum Protect Plus Implementation and Administration - IBM SPP 10.1.X (Badge). Experience Level 3+ Years Role & Responsibilities ·Level 1 Backup Administrators and provide 24x7 Production Support. ·Perform Daily Health Checks covering Backup Infrastructure. ·Maintain Scratch Tape count for Backup continuity. ·Re-run of Backup Jobs and Admin Jobs. Technical Skills Required ·Good hands-on IBM Spectrum Protect (ISP), IBM Spectrum Protect Plus (SPP), Tape Library, and Disk Storage. ·Good Knowledge on ISP Monitoring and Reporting Tools. Specific Domain/Technical/Functional skills ·Strong knowledge in TSM Administration related concepts. ( > TSM 8.1.x a.k.a., IBM Spectrum Protect) and troubleshooting skills. ·Good knowledge on SAP HANA DB, Oracle DB and SQL DB Backup and Configuration. ·Configured LAN free clients and good at troubleshooting LAN free backup failures. ·Support in Delivering of Backup SLAs and KPIs. ·Coordinate with Vendors & OEMs for technical issues. ·Perform backup and restore testing processes to ensure system availability and data recovery. ·Perform Full System Recovery. ·Periodic and scheduled reporting of backup success rates/KPI metrics ·Troubleshoot OS and Application Backup issues, Capacity issues and increased resource consumption issues etc. ·Work on Backup and Restore service requests. ·Possess a good knowledge in library/drive concepts and it related way of troubleshooting. ·ITIL Certification preferred. ·Good on documentation and presentation skills.
