We are currently looking for a freelance "Senior ABAP Developer (m/f/d) - SAF-T Implementation (SAP ECC)" for our client in the IT sector. Start: asap End: 31.12.2025 ++ Capacity: Fulltime Location: Remote Deliverables: Senior ABAP Developer to support the development and maintenance of the SAF-T solution, with a focus on adapting an existing S/4HANA-based implementation to ECC. We are seeking someone who can work independently, contribute high-quality code, and help in offloading the internal team's workload. Key Responsibilities: ·Adapt and implement the SAF-T solution from S/4HANA to ECC. ·Develop and maintain ABAP code with a focus on performance and scalability. ·Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency with existing SAF-T architecture. ·Analyze and optimize database selection logic (e.g., complex SELECT statements, joins). ·Support testing, documentation, and deployment activities. Required Skills: ·Strong ABAP development expertise, including performance tuning (e.g., DB hints, PlanViz) ·Solid understanding of SAP FI, MM, and SD module data structures ·Strong understanding of database handling in ABAP, including working with complex data models, joins, and performance-optimized data retrieval ·Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality code in a collaborative environment ·Fluent English skills Nice to Have: ·Hands-on experience with SAF-T implementation for any country ·Familiarity with the OECD SAF-T 2.0 specification
