We are currently looking for a freelance "Author/ Journalist (m/f/d) for longform content for Chief Design Officer" for our client in the IT sector. Start: 02.02.2026 End: 30.06.2026 Capacity: Fulltime Location: Remote We are looking for an experienced and talented longform content author to collaborate with the Chief Design Officer (CDO) and possibly his leadership team in producing high-quality, engaging written content that communicates the thoughts, ideas, and expertise of our CDO. The primary goal of this project is to establish our CDO as a thought leader in the design industry and to promote his perspective and insights through various content channels such as blog posts, articles, white papers, social media posts, and more. The author will work closely with the CDO to understand his vision and messaging, and then develop engaging and compelling content that aligns with his voice and expertise. The content may cover a wide range of topics related to design, leadership, innovation, AI & tech, and industry trends. Ultimately, the content produced should enhance the CDO's personal brand and contribute to the company's overall thought leadership and industry influence. Responsibilities: ·Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with company goals, target audience preferences, and industry trends. ·Research, write, and edit high-quality longform content for social media: blog posts, LinkedIn newsletter, whitepapers, case studies, and other marketing materials. ·Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and design, to ensure alignment of messaging and consistency of brand voice. ·Stay informed about emerging technologies, design trends, and industry developments to create relevant and timely content that resonates with our audience. ·Analyze content performance metrics and feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. ·Help with reviewing DXR report content as suggested by CDO. ·Develop and write keynote speeches for CDO's speaking engagements. Must-have: ·Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field. ·Proven experience (7+ years) as a content writer or content marketing strategist in the technology and design industry. ·Deep understanding of technology concepts, design principles, and industry terminology. ·Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a knack for simplifying complex ideas and engaging diverse audiences. ·Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. ·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. ·Native-level proficiency in spoken and written English. ·Demonstrated experience publishing articles in recognized thought leadership publications such as Forbes, Fast Company, or comparable outlets. The ideal candidate for this project will have a strong background in content writing as well as a strong understanding of the design or creative industry. They should be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with our CDO to ensure that the content reflects their unique perspective and adds value to our audience. In addition to writing original content, the candidate will also be responsible for editing and proofreading materials to ensure accuracy and consistency. They will work collaboratively with the Chief Design Officer to brainstorm and develop new ideas, and will be able to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
