We are currently looking for a freelance "Fullstack Developer (Python / React / NextJS) (m/f/d)" for our client in the transport industry. Start: 01.02.2026 End: 31.05.2026 Capacity: Fulltime Volume: 74 days Location: Remote (Nearshore) The project involves the development and refinement of a central compatibility database that ensures that hardware and software components within a digital control and safety system are technically compatible with each other. The database maps interfaces between systems, subsystems and software components, referencing a centrally defined core system. It is used both for the modernisation and repair of existing systems and for the planning of new systems. In addition, future products can also be taken into account with details of their availability. Software development is agile, with daily coordination, and is mainly carried out remotely within the European Economic Area. The project language and documentation are in German or English. Tasks: ·Front-end and back-end development with NextJS / React and Django / Python based on specified tasks and a system architecture in compliance with the client's specifications. ·Reproducing and fixing errors from the test phases in the components. ·Quality assurance through detailed code reviews of pull requests. ·Use of GitHub CoPilot / Large Language Models (LLMs) for code development ·Git platforms, database access, and development and collaboration tools are used to provide services. Must Requirements: ·At least three years of practical experience in front-end development with NextJS OR React ·At least three years of practical experience in back-end development with Python ·At least three years of practical experience working with Git ·At least three years of practical experience with relational databases and SQL ·Fluent German OR English language skills Requirements: ·At least three years of proven experience with the Python framework Django (40%) ·At least two years of proven experience with GitOps, DevOps and Docker in projects (10%) ·At least three years of proven experience with PostgreSQL (10%)
