We are currently looking for a freelance "Transformation Testing Lead (m/f/x)" for our client in the Fashion sector. Start: asap End: June 2030 Capacity: fulltime Location: remote from Europe, with 5 days/month onsite in Düsseldorf (Germany) Tasks: 1. Testing Strategy & Governance ·Define and maintain the overall testing strategy, principles, and governance model, including roles (RACI), decision-making, and alignment across all teams. 2. End-to-End Testing Visibility · Provide a consolidated view of testing progress and readiness across all phases (integration, E2E, UAT, non-functional), including risk identification and transparent reporting to leadership. 3. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) · Lead and coordinate UAT, ensuring solutions meet business requirements, with clear entry/exit criteria and stakeholder alignment for validation and sign-off. 4. SAP Testing Support · Oversee and support SAP testing activities, ensuring alignment with programme milestones and coordination with SAP CoE, architecture, and integration partners. 5. Planning, Reporting & Stakeholder Management · Own the testing workstream, including planning, roadmap, and reporting. Act as the central contact for testing topics and communicate status, risks, and decisions to leadership. 6. Technical Test Coordination Leadership · Lead and coordinate technical test teams, ensuring consistent standards, clear priorities, issue escalation, and strong collaboration across all involved teams. Requirements: ·10+ years of experience in testing, quality assurance, or delivery roles within large transformation or ERP environments, including leadership or coordination roles. ·Proven experience coordinating UAT at scale with senior business stakeholde?rs and supporting high stakes Go Live decisions. ·Strong knowledge of SAP landscapes and complex multi-system integration environments (SAP S/4HANA preferred). ·Demonstrated people leadership experience, including line management or functional leadership of specialist testing roles (e.g. Technical Test Coordinators). ·Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of aligning business, IT, and external partners. ·Ability to translate complex testing and readiness topics into clear, executive ready insights ·Experience working with System Integrators and complex vendor ecosystems; background in retail, consumer goods, or multicounty environments strongly preferred. ·fluent in English ·German nice to have
