We are currently looking for a freelance "Test Manager (m/f/d) – MDM & MDG (SAP S/4HANA)" for our client in the fashion sector. Start: asap End: June 2030 Capacity: fulltime Location: remote/5 days per month Düsseldorf (Germany) Tasks: ·Lead and coordinate all testing activities related to Master Data Management (MDM) and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) within a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program. ·Provide transparency on testing status, quality, readiness, risks, and dependencies across Integration Testing, End-to-End Testing, UAT, and Non-Functional Testing. ·Own and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring business validation, stakeholder engagement, and formal sign-off. ·Support cross-functional testing activities across SAP and non-SAP domains, ensuring alignment with business, architecture, and system integration teams. ·Manage testing plans, reporting, and stakeholder communication for all data-related testing topics. ·Coordinate technical test resources and ensure adherence to testing standards, governance processes, and quality criteria. Must-have: ·8+ years of experience in Testing, Quality Assurance, or ERP transformation programs. ·Proven experience as a Test Manager in SAP implementation or transformation projects. ·Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA. ·Strong expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). ·Solid understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) processes. ·Experience with Data Migration, Data Validation, and Reconciliation. ·Knowledge of Integration Middleware and API-based integrations. ·Experience with Enterprise Test Management and Test Automation tools. ·Experience working with System Integrators and complex multi-vendor environments. ·Strong English communication skills.
