We are currently looking for a freelance "AI Knowledge Management & Technical Documentation Consultant (m/f/d)" for our client in the telecommunications sector. Start: asap End: 9 months Capacity: 3 days/week Location: remote/Ratingen, Germany Tasks: ·Analyse and document complex technical environments, infrastructure, processes, and system dependencies. ·Develop standardized documentation frameworks, templates, governance, taxonomies, and information architecture. ·Collaborate with architects, engineers, operations, and security teams to capture and structure technical knowledge. ·Design AI-enabled documentation workflows using AI agents, RAG, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, and other enterprise AI tools. ·Build a prototype AI knowledge assistant and create reusable AI prompts and automation workflows. ·Integrate German statutory, BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIS2, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements into technical documentation by mapping technical controls to compliance obligations. ·Produce high-quality technical documentation, diagrams, runbooks, and knowledge articles while establishing documentation quality standards and knowledge transfer processes. Must-have: ·Extensive experience in enterprise technical documentation and knowledge management. ·Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, architecture, and IT operations. ·Hands-on experience with enterprise AI assistants, AI agents, RAG, and AI-assisted documentation. ·Knowledge of German and EU regulatory frameworks, including BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIS2, and GDPR. ·Ability to work independently, engage with technical stakeholders, and produce clear, structured documentation in German and English. Deliverables: ·Comprehensive technical documentation of the target environment. ·Standardized documentation framework, templates, governance model, and quality standards. ·AI-enabled knowledge repository, taxonomy, and information model. ·Prototype AI knowledge assistant and AI-driven documentation workflows. ·Training and knowledge transfer to support future documentation teams.
