We are currently looking for a freelance "ABAP RAP Developer (m/f/d)" for our client in the IT sector. Start: asap End: 31.12.2026 Capacity: Fulltime Location: Remote Tasks: ·Development and enhancement of modern SAP applications using ABAP RAP ·Implementation of managed and unmanaged RAP solutions ·Development using ABAP OO, CDS and AMDP ·Development of applications using SAP Fiori Elements ·Development and integration of REST APIs and BAPIs ·Analysis and resolution of technical errors, as well as troubleshooting ·Ensuring code quality and adherence to SAP best practices ·Collaboration with business departments and development teams in an agile project environment Must-Haves: ·5+ years of experience as senior ABAP developer ·Hands-on SAP development experience in Classic ABAP/ ABAP OO / CDS / AMDP ·Hands-on SAP development experience in RAP (utilizing both managed and unmanaged implementations, clear understanding of the different benefits of each implementation, available artifacts, and their purpose) ·Strong experience in developing SAP applications using Fiori Elements ·Strong experience with REST API and BAPI ·Strong troubleshooting skills. ·Fluent English language skills oral and written Nice to have: ·Experience in Fiori Elements enhancements on the UI is a plus ·Familiarity with CI/CD ABAP pipeline and GitHub ·Experience in working in an agile environment (SCRUM or SAFe) Soft Skills: ·Quick learner and very good analytical skills ·Good communication skills ·Structured and goal-oriented approach to work
- Development and enhancement of modern SAP applications using ABAP RAP
- Implementation of managed and unmanaged RAP solutions
- Development using ABAP OO, CDS and AMDP
- Development of applications using SAP Fiori Elements
- Development and integration of REST APIs and BAPIs

- 5+ years of experience as senior ABAP developer

- Strong experience in developing SAP applications using Fiori Elements
