The Plant Engineer provides engineering expertise to support and continuously improve the client's site, ensuring uninterrupted production while adhering to all relevant standards, cGxPs, and customer expectations. As part of the Plant Engineering team within Site Engineering, you will act as the equipment and process expert for Bulk Production areas, delivering technical support, resolving recurring issues, and driving modifications, optimizations, and continuous improvement initiatives. UF/DF) ·Chromatography units ·Process piping systems ·CIP skids ·SIP systems ·Support or lead the design, installation, commissioning, and qualification of equipment upgrades, modifications, and improvements. ·Proactively ensure equipment and systems remain in appropriate technical condition; recommend corrective actions and improvements when needed. ·Organize and coordinate corrective actions, modifications, and improvement activities. Compliance & Standards ·Ensure alignment with organizational and industry standards (cGMP, GEP, SUVA/ASIT, etc.). ·Guarantee that all required safety measures are implemented to prevent risks of injury. Qualifications: ·Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Food Processing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. ·7+ years of experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry (Process Engineering, Manufacturing, or similar). ·Proven experience in installation, commissioning, and validation of pharmaceutical facilities and process equipment, including: ·Process piping & instrumentation ·Bioreactors, process vessels, storage tanks ·Chromatography and filtration units (incl. filter testing) ·Autoclaves ·CIP systems and processes ·SIP systems and processes ·Experience with PLC/Automation (Siemens & Allen Bradley), maintenance, and utilities is an asset. ·Fluency in French and English (spoken and written)
