Title: Project Engineer Start: 1 April 2026 Location: Baselland Contract Length: 8 Months plus Initial contract 8 but project length 15 months Tasks: ·Planning and execution of in-house engineering projects on time, on budget and in line with quality as a (Partial) project manager together with a team from various disciplines in accordance with the internal process specifications ·Creation of technical concepts, comparison of variants, cost estimates and schedules ·Detailed technical and implementation planning of the projects on the basis of the specifications under Compliance with legal regulations as well as the concerns of environmental protection, plant safety, existing infrastructure, statics, fire protection, occupational safety, explosion protection, applicable technical regulations, etc. ·Preparation of technical specifications and tender documents, comparison of tenders, awarding of contracts of external services in close cooperation with technical purchasing, technical clarifications with possible suppliers ·Planning and supervision of construction sites with various internal and external trades; Control of the professional execution and, if necessary, definition of corrective measures to ensure deadlines & Quality ·Overview of the project objectives, preparation of reports on the progress of the project for the supervisors Positions Qualifications: ·Process or chemical engineer or degree in a related engineering or scientific course of study ·5 years + of practical experience in the field of engineering in a company in the (specialty) chemicals sector or at an Engineering service provider with appropriate orientation, knowledge in the production of chemical products, project experience in the chemical industry ·(basic) knowledge of various technical topics such as pump design and selection, Materials, planning of pipelines, valve technology, safety considerations, risk analyses (e.g. HazOp) and risk checks, ATEX, Pressure Equipment Directive, etc. ·Ability to structure tasks professionally as well as implementation strength and ·Sensitivity to progress, deadlines, costs, project risks and how to mitigate them ·Confidence and strong communication skills in coordination processes with external service providers and suppliers, as well as internal stakeholders at all levels (assembly personnel, operational personnel,Head of Department) ·SAP knowledge is an advantage (MM, PM) ·Good written and spoken German and English

Qualifications:
