As the Medical Lead Solid Tumors Germany, you will have in-depth knowledge of the relevant therapy area and the associated clinical trial data. Acting as a medical and scientific expert, you will play a key role in supporting the success of the current portfolio and upcoming product launches within a cross-functional team. You will collaborate closely with key external stakeholders and report directly to the Medical Director Germany. We are looking for a committed individual as Medical Lead Solid Tumors Germany (m/f/d) Your primary Responsibilities ·Leads all advocacy activities in the Oncology area to ensure the brands’ appropriate adoption. ·Leads scientific messaging dissemination developing a compelling communication for each brand in line with the company's strategy of the brand. ·Leads, develops and manages the local Oncology MSL team and the Oncology Medical Advisor(s) ·Works closely with the Medical Director to establish a medical footprint ·Closely collaborates with the Medical Leads in Austria and Switzerland to also guide and support their activities as meaningful and needed ·Establishes, develops, and manages collaborative relationships with key medical experts and opinion leaders of the region related to any current and future disease areas relevant for the company ·Where appropriate or relevant, gives strategic guidance, drives and is hands-on, in the structured tactical execution of all local medical activities, in close collaboration with Medical Affairs Europe. ·Leads, coordinates and pro-actively contributes to all pre-launch/pre-reimbursement activities for all compounds and indications ·Locally facilitates any patient access programs to address high unmet medical needs. ·Provides medical expertise in all regulatory and reimbursement approval processes within the region ·Partners with Clinical Development and Clinical Operations to identify and work with local opinion leaders, investigators and clinical experts that support the development of the company’s new compounds and indications ·Ensures all activities required by pharmacovigilance and risk management are planned, set-up and pursued in accordance to the respective local and EU laws. ·Ensures legal excellence and compliance in all medical activities as per M/S SOPs and local regulations. Your desired Skills, Experience, and Attributes ·Experienced & (Senior) MSL Manager with previous leadership experience, specifically having directly managed medical teams in the past. ·Proven track record leading growing / newly formed teams to become high performing ·Previous experience of product launches in oncology. ·Substantial experience in Onco-hematology/Solid tumors Oncology with established network to key experts within Germany ·Preferably with a doctorate degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) with at least 8 years of relevant industry experience required. ·Self- starter with personal drive and purpose ·High willingness to travel. ·Passion about strategic launch planning and execution as well as track record in developing and executing successful (pre-)launch initiatives. ·Proven basic science and/or clinical background to enable engagement of internal and external stakeholders in a scientifically meaningful exchange. ·Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, to anticipate and adapt to change. ·Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to engage in collaborative decision making. ·Fluent in German and English ·Passionate about making a meaningful difference for patients and caregivers.
