Aufgaben: ·Application Lifecycle Management: Operate, monitor, and maintain the msg.Life Factory application across development, test, and production environments. This includes start/stop procedures, resets, and batch job management ·Incident and Problem Management: Analyze and resolve complex incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and coordinate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure timely resolution. ·Release and Deployment: Plan, prepare, and execute application deployments. Conduct post-deployment shakedown tests to validate system stability and performance. ·Monitoring and Performance: Proactively monitor system health, logs, and performance metrics. Address issues related to Kubernetes resources, messaging systems (JMS/Kafka/MQ), and middleware components. ·Configuration and Customization: Manage configuration settings, adapt job schedules, and support backup/restore procedures and database connectivity. ·Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners. Participate in regular coordination meetings and maintain clear documentation in tools like JIRA. ·Automation and Optimization: Identify opportunities to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency through scripting and tooling. Must-Have-Skills: ·Proficiency in Java-based applications and web/app servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere/Liberty). ·Strong SQL skills for diagnostics and data analysis. ·Experience with Linux and Windows environments. ·Very good knowledge with the MSG Life Factory ·Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and middleware technologies. ·Understanding of database systems (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server). ·Exposure to ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) and monitoring platforms Additional Information: The MSG Life Factory Specialist in Application Operations is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of the msg.Life Factory platform—a core policy administration system used in the life insurance domain.
